Melbourne Quarter is bringing the heat and transforming the precinct into The Spicy Side of Collins Street - a bold, flavour‑forward celebration of all things hot sauce this MFWF.

You can put hot sauce on just about anything: over tacos, on a sandwich, atop your fried chicken, or in a Bloody Mary. However you like to hot sauce, you’re invited to spice it up as Mat’s Hot Shop takes over Melbourne Quarter for two supremely spicy days this Festival. 

Mat’s Hot Sauce Pop‑Up Shop: Explore Mat’s full range of small‑batch hot sauces, with select products available to purchase. Taste, try, and find your new favourite spicy flavour.

Roaming Condiment Crew: Keep an eye out for our roaming crew bringing the heat directly to MQ diners, offering tastings on the go.

Spicy Specials Across the Precinct: Your favourite lunch spots are introducing never-before-seen hot sauce-ified iterations of their menus during the week. 

Free Chipotle Hot Sauces: Spend $10 or more at any MQ retailer and redeem a limited‑edition Melbourne Quarter x MFWF x Mat’s Hot Sauce Shop Chipotle Sauce. Simply show your receipt at the pop‑up to claim yours*.

Quarterhouse: Spicy chipotle margarita, chipotle chicken parma, golden fried chilli squid and flame-grilled lamb skewers with heat.

Saluministi: The spicy chicken panino will be available all week.

Sushi & Nori: Launching their new spicy sushi hand roll range; fresh tuna, cooked tuna, teriyaki salmon, panko prawn and fresh prawn.

Hello Chicken: Serving three new spicy dipping sauces! Vote for your favourite to earn a permanent spot on the menu.

Toro Poke and Bento: Spicy Hawaiian poke bowl and chicken karaage with spicy mayo.
